More Seflies!
We are in the second week of camp and this group has already taken some amazing self-portraits. If we let them, they would shoot photographs all day long! Some have decided not to picture themselves directly, but picture something that represents who they are. Students wrote their own captions to explain how the pictures relate to their character.

I am a kinda person that isn’t afraid to
do dangerous things cause where I’m at on this bridge I would climb the top of
that bridge. Um I am an adventurous person. I like going to the woods and I'll go
almost everywhere in Nelsonville. Where I’m at is on a bridge and there’s
trees, water, stone steps and I’m on the edge of it.

The way the circle brings the shoes together makes them seam
relatable. In a sense, they are friends but mostly they’re my family’s
shoes. In some sense my family will always be there but sometimes family
members don’t always get along but continue to act normal.

In order to take this
picture I had to see beyond the surface and really dig in the trash and I found
the treasure. This tells you that I don’t judge the surface but I will judge
what is beneath. You have to look beyond to find the beauty in some things.
Emily Watkins I like this photo because of my face. The things I love about my face are
my eyes, lips, and hair. I've always loved my face. I love my eyes because they stand
out. I love my lips because they're big. I love my hair because it's dirty blond. Another thing about my hair is it's thick and when I toss it to the side it's
nice.

This picture tells you that I like to stand not above the
crowd or with it but I like to be unique. I like these flowers because they are
different from the rest of the forest. Everyone in this world is different in his or her own special way. You just need to be ok with
yourself because you can't be anyone else.
